    Merimbula House
Completed in 1997, this house located in Merimbula, Australia is a vacational place built for a family of four people. Is constructed almost entirely of reclaimed timbers and glass for the doors and windows. The post and lintels were salvaged from a demolished bridge in Gippsland, Victoria. Its structure is based on a series of intertwined columns and beams forming a reticulate shape. The house has two levels, in the ground floor is the main corridor leading to the rooms and the pool until reach the living room, the kitchen and the main balcony. Behind the kitchen are the stairs leading to the second floor where is located the main room. The doors and windows are panels that allows the incoming sunlight and a wide view of the landscape, creating an interaction between interior and exterior spaces, wich in combination with the soothing sounds produced by the water of the fountain in the pool, creates an harmonious environment for its guests. That’s why the Merimbula House is the perfect place for vacation.
